2003 Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 JTD Sportwagon in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex for sale

For sale is my much loved 156 Sportwagon that I have owned since November 2013 covering 22k miles since then. This has been a great car and has surprised me with it’s reliability! Only selling as I have a new job and need to get something newer. I spent a while looking for the right car and finally found this one with the facelift interior, Bose stereo system (with subwoofer), 16” Teledial alloys and less common 150bhp 10V JTD engine (before they moved to 20V with plastic tensioners and water pump) which is generally considered the best of the bunch. She’s now covered 150k miles and has averaged 48mpg on my A&B road commute to work since I bought her. There’s a full service history, the service book was full of stamps when I got her but I have receipts for all of the work done under my ownership. I’ve just had her serviced and in the last year I’ve replaced the front tyres (brand new), thermostat, battery, front drop links and rear tyres. The cloth interior is in excellent condition with everything working as it should, I’ve also added an Alpine CD/MP3 head unit with iPod connection, wired in properly to the Bose amp and speakers. The original Bose/Blaupunkt head unit will also come with the car. She has MOT until Feb 2016. As with any car this age, there’s a couple of not so good bits. There’s a small scuff on the front nearside bumper, the rear wiper doesn’t work, advisories on last two MOT’s that the suspension is ’soft’ (drives fine) and the air conditioning is no longer cold.
